Melt & Seal

The Ritual

Melt & Seal

Two steps, two minutes. Body care built for real heat and humidity.

One simple idea, made for real skin.

Melt and Seal is the idea at the centre of Gliserra. First a lightweight body oil melts into damp skin and feeds it. Then a body butter seals that moisture in. Oil, then butter, straight out of the shower. Two products, about two minutes, and skin that stays comfortable all day.

01

Melt

Silken Body Oil

Warm a few drops between your palms and press into damp skin. The oil melts in and feeds, absorbing fast even in the heat, so nothing sits on top. This is the step most body care skips, or gets wrong in humidity.

02

Seal

Velvet Body Butter
Straight after, while skin is still warm, massage the butter over the areas that need it. It locks the oil in and leaves a cushioned, non-greasy finish that holds through a long, hot day.

Your face gets ten steps. Your body gets a bar of soap.

We think that is backwards. The body you live in deserves the same intention as the face, and the same quality of care.
Why it is different

Made for the heat, not borrowed from the cold.

Skin in this heat asks for something different. Most oils and lotions are formulated for cool, dry climates, so in real humidity they sit on the surface, turn greasy, or feel too heavy to wear.

We were tired of it. So we made the opposite: an oil light enough to absorb when it is warm, and a butter that seals without the suffocating finish. Body care designed for the weather you live in, not the one the formula was made for.

On top, or melting in?

The difference you feel the moment it touches warm skin.

MOST OILS

The Melt & Seal Discovery Duo
Sits on the surface. Greasy in the heat.
MELT & SEAL
The Melt & Seal Discovery Duo
Oil absorbs and feeds, then seals in.

How to layer oil and butter

Order
Oil first, butter second, always. The oil feeds, the butter seals.
Skin
Apply to damp skin, straight from the shower or bath, for the fastest absorption.
Amount
A few drops of oil and a small scoop of butter. Less than you think, both go a long way.
When
Morning for all-day comfort, or at night to wake up soft. Every day is where the ritual pays off.
Oily or humid skin
Still works. The oil absorbs rather than sits, so it suits warmer weather and oilier skin too.

Melt and Seal, answered

Do I use the body oil or the butter first?
Oil first, then butter. The oil melts into damp skin and feeds it, and the butter seals that moisture in. Oil, then butter, every time.
Will a body oil feel greasy in humidity?
Not this one. Silken Body Oil is made to absorb into warm, damp skin, so it sinks in rather than sitting on the surface, even in heat and humidity.
Should I apply to wet or dry skin?
Damp skin, straight from the shower. It absorbs faster and holds better than on fully dry skin.
Can I use just the oil or just the butter?
Yes. The oil alone gives a light, fast-absorbing finish, and the butter alone gives richer comfort. Used together, oil then butter, they are the full Melt and Seal ritual.
Does it work on oily or combination skin?
Yes. Because the oil absorbs instead of sitting on top, it suits humid-weather and oilier skin too.
How is this different from a body lotion?
A lotion does one step and compromises. Melt and Seal uses two, a light oil to feed and a butter to seal, built for the heat rather than borrowed from a cooler climate.
